Today, finally, we would like to present our third and last centre: the one in Montornès del Vallès. Shall we go in?
The Akoma Group moved into the Montornès del Vallès site in the summer of 2020. It is therefore an In-plant within the Henkel Ibérica facilities, in the detergents part.
Within this centre, 5,000m2 belong to the Akoma Group and of this, at an operational level, we occupy 2,000m2. In addition, we have robotised the entire palletisation, dispatching, entrances, displays and waste channelling. The latter: Waste channelling has helped us to reduce personnel traffic inside the warehouse and to make the work of the operators more comfortable.
In the centre of Montornès del Vallès, is also where we find our most innovative project: AUTOBOX. This new project is based on the implementation of a production line within our operational process to manufacture packaging boxes or similar on demand.
